Greg was born and raised in Winchester, Va. He graduated from James Madison University in Harrisonburg, Va., in 1997 with a double major in German and international affairs. He went on to earn his law degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 2001.
For nearly a decade, he worked in various editorial positions at the award-winning North Carolina Lawyers Weekly and South Carolina Lawyers Weekly newspapers.
Greg says his experience as a journalist improved his ability to communicate clearly about complex legal issues in both print and online formats. He also was able to interact with law firms and grasp the challenges they face when it comes to gaining the online exposure necessary to reach out to potential clients.
“I also treasure my experience growing up at a family-owned car dealership in a small West Virginia town,” Greg says. “I learned a lot there about treating everyone with respect and fairness.”
He became a lifelong car fanatic as well. He currently owns two vehicles “that could be loosely described as classics.” In his spare time, he enjoys tinkering with them and, more importantly, driving them.
Greg also enjoys reading, traveling and spending time with family.
