Diana is a native of Raleigh, North Carolina, who earned her undergraduate degree in Print Journalism from Loyola University in New Orleans (with a minor in Sociology). She went on to earn her Master’s of Education degree (Social Foundations of Education) from the University of Virginia.
After college, she served as a community news and crime reporter for the Greensboro News & Record. She also worked as an award-winning reporter for North Carolina Lawyers Weekly and South Carolina Lawyers Weekly and as the editor of Carolina Paralegal News.
“As a legal reporter, I wrote stories specifically related to trends in legal marketing, which has given me a good idea of how the profession is evolving to stay on the cutting edge when it comes to technology, marketing and client recruitment and retention,” Diana says. “I also deepened my understanding of the legal profession and current trends impacting the practice of law.”
Outside of work, Diana likes spending time with her husband and daughter and their shaggy black rescue dog, Brady. She is also an avid music lover and concert goer, and she enjoys hiking, reading, movies, theater and hanging out with friends and family.
